Nürnberg
At the end of the 60's the branch office Nürnberg was incorporated, in order to control the handling of the coal shipments from the Ruhr to the power plant in Franken.
Due to the positive business development beyond these shipments and the expansion of the activities in this connection, we built an own office building at the port on the Antwerpener Straße in 1988.
Our trading area expanded immensely upon opening of the Main-Donau-Canal in 1992.
Since then our modern bulk carriers are also at home on the Donau. They forward ore, agricultural products, iron and steel goods, heavy lift resp. construction material as well as products of the waste disposal business in a reciprocal traffic system between places in the Rhine river area and the Benelux ports and the Donau ports in Austria, the Republic of Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Rumania and the Ukraine. Furthermore, these vessels are also being operated in container traffic.
